Transportation of Lithium Batteries -

This session addresses the following topics: differentiating lithium
metal vs. lithium ion batteries, determining if a lithium battery is "fully
regulated" or "excepted", "contained in equipment" vs. "packed with
equipment" requirements, hazardous properties of lithium batteries and
safety concerns, incident reporting, latest regulatory updates, requirements
for selection of packaging, affixing package marks/labels, prototype battery
requirements and completion of
shipping papers. This online session covers all regulatory
requirements for the transportation (air, water, rail or ground) of lithium
batteries.
Join us for this 3-hour online session. On the live date you can view the
presentation and communicate with the instructor via LIVE chat.
Students may interact with the instructor from their office, home or
wherever there is a PC.
This course INCLUDES
required US DOT General Awareness and Security Awareness training.
Students will be provided with an electronic manual that includes
practice problems (covered in course), applicable excerpts from domestic
and international regulations plus other helpful guidance information.
Upon successful completion of an online test, students will be
issued a certificate.
